Eyebrow Threading

Threading is a temporary method in the removal of scattered hair. Threading is used on the entire face, including upper lip, chin, eyebrows, sideburns and cheeks. It is more effective than shaving or bleaching.

Threading is a traditional Indian form of hair removal that became popular in US a few years ago. The main disadvantage that is associated with threading is that, it can be painful depends on how sensitive your skin is and how thick your hair grows.

Plucking is usually performed using hand-held or electrical tweezers. Electrical tweezers including the Epilady range of products are designed to remove unwanted hair from both small and large areas. Tweezing your eyebrows is the most dramatic way to change your face without makeup or surgery. It can make your eyes look larger and give your face a clean, polished look.

Threading is much easier than waxing. Tweezing is painful, as you're pulling out each hair one by one. The best thing to do is thread. To tweeze brows, use an alcohol-soaked swab to clean the area. This removes oils that make the hairs harder to grip.

Threading involves pulling out a row of hairs from the follicle by twisting the hairs into a cotton thread. The therapist holds one end of the thread in her neck and the other end in one of her hands. With her free hand, she grabs the middle of the thread to form a loop. The loop traps the unwanted row of hairs and the specialist pulls the hairs from the skin, leaving a smooth finish.
